There are many things to consider when properly seasoning firewood to our exacting specifications. For example, knowing it takes months to dry firewood properly, at D & M Firewood,we plan ahead. We even take into consideration what time of year we cut our firewood, to have it ready to sell during times of high demand.
After cutting, we always split our firewood. This increases the amount of exposed wood, making the drying time faster and ensures even drying throughout each piece of wood. The wood must then be stored off the ground, stacked in a precise way to allow for constant and consistent air circulation, and not exposed to the elements.
Quality can’t be hurried, and we are never in a rush! We allow our firewood to be available to our customers until it has passed our exacting specifications.
Sizes Available
At D & M you can custom order your firewood to a length that fits your needs. Our standard split size is 16″ inches. For the Do-It-Yourself customer, D & M also carries and delivers firewood logs, outdoor boiler logs and split campfire wood.
IS DELIVERY AVAILABLE?
We have campfire wood or face cord firewood available for pickup anytime. We are happy to deliver firewood to you as well. If you’re not sure if you are in our delivery area, we have a custom delivery calculator that will tell you the exact delivery charge, and if your location is within our delivery area.
